If at any stage of your tenancy, you require repairs or maintenance at the property, please ensure that your request is emailed to: [email protected]
This will ensure there is a record of your request with any relevant information. In case of an emergency repair being required, please also contact the Dowling Commercial office on 4969 8000 or 0425 267 115.
When emailing a maintenance request, please include the following details:
• Property Address
• Tenant name/s
• Tenant contact person (name and phone number)
• Detailed description of the maintenance request including any know causes of the issue and when it occurred or was first noticed. (Eg: Water leaking from the ceiling in (location within tenancy) following heavy rain on (date).
• Photos of the area or damage/repair required via email as soon as possible, if available.
The more information we have, the faster the repairs can occur with the correct contractor engaged.
IMPORTANT
· Not all repairs and maintenance are the responsibility of the Landlord. Please be aware of any repair and maintenance responsibilities noted in your lease.
· Damage caused by the Lessee or an invitee of the Lessee is the responsibility of the tenant to rectify.
· Where access is required, it is ideal that the Lessee make themselves available to provide access to any contractors engaged to rectify the issue.
· The Lessee is required to take any measure possible to ensure that no further damage is caused and to mitigate loss to all parties involved.
